We Help Our Community's Students Succeed Through Scholarships

Since our founding in 1974, Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation -  Dollars for Scholars has awarded over $2.2 million in scholarships to over 2500 students in our community.  As a board member, it's so rewarding to know that our efforts can truly make a difference in the lives of young people by helping them achieve a college education.

One of those students is Allison Gooley

Allison graduated from CW Baker High School in 2015 and was the recipient of the Bill McKeigue Memorial Scholarship. She recently graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a BA in Psychology. She was able to graduate one year early by using the scholarships she received to take summer classes.  She now is headed to SUNY Oswego to begin her master's degree in school counseling.

The generosity of our local community members and businesses makes it possible to help students like Allison. Your tax deductible donation to Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation -  Dollars for Scholars directly impacts students and our students appreciate knowing that their scholarship comes from the support of their community.

One of the best gifts we can offer our young people is access to higher education and the benefits that the completion of a postsecondary degree affords.  As evidenced in Allison's success story, these benefits can extend throughout our community.
